The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is rated among the best trekking trips in the world because of the exquisite beauty of it's natural surroundings, these include different ecological areas from high deserts to Andean rainforest.

DAY 1: Cusco - Wayllabamba - Peru Adventure
We will pick you up from the hotel around 6.30 am to start our trip from Cusco to the km 82 where we are going to have a break for lunch. During that time, the guide will give you relevant information about the first day activity (Tourist identification or passport is mandatory on the checkpoint).

During the trekking excursion, we will visit the impressive Sacred Valley , the Urubamba River and the beautiful snow mountain Veronica. Then we will continue our way to the old Incas villages of Llactapata, and Willcaracay, where the guide will explain us about the importance of these archaeological sites. Here we will have time to take pictures of the beautiful landscapes. Then, we will walk an hour and half more until arrive to the Wayllabamba site at 3000 m above the sea level, where we are going to camp. We will have the tea time around 5:30 pm and dinner around 7:00pm. (L+D).

DAY 2: Wayllabamba - Warmiwanusca - Pacaymayo - Peru Adventure
We will get up at 6:00 am to pack and have breakfast before to start the trekking excursion up to Warmihuanusca (death women in English) at 4200m above the sea level. At that point, after 4 or 5 hours walking, we will have a coffee break and time to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. This is the highest point we will reach. From there, we will start to descend for an hour to reach the second camp site in Pacaymayo.

Lunch will be in the camp site, tea time will be around 5:30 and dinner around 7:00pm

Bring appropriate clothes for trekking.

Wear trekking shoes.

Wear rain jackets or Ponchos (Plastic rain Ponchos can be purchased in Cusco or on the way to the trail).

Bring warm clothes, including sweater and jacket.

Bring sleeping bag.

Bring a mattress (you won't have to carry it).

Bring flashlight and batteries.

Bring photo camera, video camera.

Bring a hat or a cap to protect your face from the sun and cold.

Wear Sun.

Wear Insect repellent.

Bring toilet paper.

Bring some snacks: biscuits, energy bars, chocolate, etc.

Bring a bottle of water and sterilizing tablets (ie. Micropur).

Bring a mattress (you won't have to carry it).
