The Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja Sonene National Park are two of the most bio diverse Natural Reserves of the planet. Located at 25 minutes flight from Cusco , these Natural Reserves protect different habitats rich in flora and fauna.

The Tambopata area is famous for the largest macaws' clay lick known in the world. Here congregate 32 species of parrots and macaws- 10% of the world's total. One of the biggest �Collpas� in the region is called �El Chuncho�, located on the left side of the Tambopata River .
